Volunteers
At Fashion Week we rely on our Volunteers to make the whole week tick! In return, Volunteers get an up close and personal view of New Zealand Fashion Week, event management and the fashion industry.
Volunteer Registration information
will be posted on this page soon.
There are 3 areas in which we require volunteers. Please see below for a brief outline of those roles within the event.
Dressing Models
This involves being part of a team and styling the models backstage, per the designer's instructions, before they walk out on to the catwalk. Often this involves 2 or 3 changes per model in a short time frame. This is a fun and fast paced role and a must if you love NZ fashion.
Ushers
This role could be described as directing traffic - it's crucial to the flow of the entire show. You will be required to direct people to their seats in a timely and polite manner and smooth out any issues if they arise. Also you will need a positive and confident nature and a love of Fashion.
Registration
We will have people from all over the world attending New Zealand Fashion Week and often it's the people at the registration desk who are the first point of contact. You will help media, buyers and VIPs with tickets or information packs and any other general queries that may arise. You will need to be computer literate, well presented and well organized and able to cope under pressure.
